How Do I Know I’m Done?

I’m still seeing my counselor that I started seeing because of my divorce. I’m starting to wonder how willl I know if I’m done? We morphed away from the divorce and the ex wife quite some time ago, and I still have lots of questions about other things, But how will I know it’s time to stop? I’ts not like I’m going to cross a finish line and know, It’s not like a scab will fall off and reveal new, pink skin underneath.

I have a feling that since I’m wondering, I’m getting ready to realiize the answer, but the more I learn, the more I’m aware of things that I don’t know. Every answered questiion raises two new questions..

So how do I know? Do you know how I’ll know?

Happy Friday!

  1. As long as you have questions then it seems pretty likely the counselor will continue to give you an answer them for you. My opinion is that nobody can answer everyone else’s questions, as well as the person can.
Seems like when you feel comfortable about
    you, it’s time!!
I’ve never met anyone who “knows all the answers” they don’t exist. Everyone has questions, about lots of things, and it’s in discovering the answers that we grow.
    You can do it friend.
If you enjoy their input then cool, but they will never actually resolve your issues… or know the right thing to say or do, for everything one can ask.
