2012

Here it is 2012, seems like I should have something somber and meaningful to say to get the year started off, like “Look both ways before you cross the street”. . . In 2012, use yer head. That’s my somber and meaningful statement.

Yesterday the wife and I assembled and filled her new swimming pool.

Not quite full

Full

It started raining last night. Hopefully, it will be sunny today, as we want to go diving and use the pool. Plus it’s the last day off before work starts back up.
Kind of sad, Christmas and New Years, you get all this time off work, and when it’s over, it’s sad. Kind of starts the year off in a sad note. Something ought to be done about that.
I think I’ve said it before, that I really can’t tell how I feel. I think I always feel the same and can’t detect changes in my day to day mood. Typing in my blog sometimes make me aware of how I feel. I think so far this morning my brain hasn’t woken up and I am running on about 4 out of 6 cylinders…
I wonder if a jump in the cold cold pool in the rain will wake me up and cheer me up too? I wonda..

Have a Great 2012 everybody! remember to say please and thank you and don’t eat yellow snow!

  1. Sorry I missed your New Year's Eve shindig. I hope it was great! That pool looks amazing! Wish I had the space for one. I do have the space outside, but my dogs would trash it! Happy New Year to you both!

  3. Ah… great gift for the wife! She'd do terrific advertising for it!!! Now I just hope you get some weather to try it out. Thanks for the good advice about 2012 – luckily the last piece of advice won't be neccesary as we don't get snow, lol!Happy New Year – may it be a great one for you!Re. Ikea cartoon – lol!! – that must just about sum up the skill needed for employment. Their concept scores 10 out of 10 for cheap furnitures but also 10 out of 10 for aggrevating shopping experience!!
