Happy Birthday to me! Double nickles old.
My wife brought me to The Wyndam in East End. Used to be The Reef, (I guess it still is)
Room 106B, the best room. If you ever come here, ask for 106B. Note to self.

You can see how this camera kills red in these two shots. The top one is the red red sunrise, but you can’t tell. The second one, look in the reflection in the window, see the red? The top photo should show that red.
I seem to be having keyboard problems. On this keyboard, it’s the space bar. You really gotta hit it good to make it work. At work yesterday, I noticed I was having problems with the caps key. Couldn’t make a capital letter until about the 3rd or 4th try.
Below are some ship pictures from a couple days ago. The top one is a cargo carrier, the bottom one is a British warship that was/is visiting.
It’s looking like a rainy windy cold day today.
Yesterday I loaded up the kayak and went looking for the wreck I saw from the air. At first I didn’t think I’d find it, but after I got out to the wrong buoys, I saw the right one. It was a big wrecked sailboat.
After that I paddled out to the inside of the reef, very close to the wrecks at Wreck of The Ten Sail, the site where a sailing fleet wrecked a couple hundred years ago. The wreck you see here is NOT from those sailing ships.
It was a great day!
Today is the last day of my vacation, tomorrow it’s back to work.
Fish in a wall
More upside down fish. Do you know what they’re really called?
A yellow guy
A stolen picture of a kid riding a big rasta reptile.
I’m officially on vacation for two days! Who hoooo!
Got back from Cayman Brac yesterday evening. Had a really good time. Went to a Star Trek party in the Bat Cave, saw lots of friends, ate a lot, rested a lot and the time there was way too short. Below are pictures.
Pink Flamingo by the runway. Huge and amazing!
Star Trek Party in the Batcave
Some Vulcan tourists who look a little like us
Another shot of the handsome couple.
Travlin Tim and The Wife at the Brac Reef Resort pool.
Heron who shared our lunch Sunday
Now it’s back to work! Have a good week!
Woke up this morning to two sick dogs. I thought there were two, now I’m thinking only one. Ditto has this medicine that the doctor said if he gets sick, stop giving it to him. Well, I’m stopping. This morning after our walk, bloody diarrhea all over the living room. And Ditto was so humiliated I couldn’t even be mad at him. One of my New Years Eve wishes was that Ditto would be healthy and happy for 2014, but I don’t know if he’s going to make it. I can tell he’s in pain.
It was a good weekend, went to the beach Saturday, and Sunday, went to a Guy Harvey Earth Day Mangrove cleanup. After the cleanup we had lunch at Morgans Harbor. Below are some videos and photos from both.

I missed it, The Wife pointed it outFebruary 4th was my 16th anniversary on the island! From now on I can say 16 instead of 15 when people ask how long I’ve been here. The Wife has been here 8!
I didn’t post yesterday, I was on Cayman Brac for work and I had to leave the house early.
Below is a video of our plane landing in Grand Cayman after a long day of hard work. The date stamp is off on the camera, the video was taken yesterday, the 6th. I have to adjust it on the camera.
For those of you who don’t know, when you don’t have anything to say, and it’s Wednesday, it’s legal to do a post called Wordless Wednesday, not to be confused with Silent Saturday. So since I have nothing to post about today, I’m just posting these pictures and I’m not saying a word.
Smith Cove at Lunchtime
Above and below are my attempts and over/under shots. You try to get the waterline exactly in the middle of the lens so that you can see both above and below the water. Dismal attempts.
My brother in law and sister in law left the island yesterday. It was sad to see them go.
Bye Mau and Gaylene! Stay warm in Canada!
